The Montagu Mail is eleven years old. It was founded by Gabrielle Medhurst in August 1998, and quickly became an essential part of life in this unique Karoo village. 
In May of 2008 it was re-named Montagu Mail and Breede Valley Spectator to reflect its widening area of interest and appeal.
